Strain development大阪大学蛋白質研究所・古川貴久作成(2018 年)。B6C3F1 の受精卵に pX330-U6-Chimeric_BB-CBh-hSpCas9 （Addgene ID :#42230）をインジェクションすることで作製した。gRNA の配列は TGGAACGAACAAAATCCGACAGG と CAGCCCTGGCTCTGCACCTGTGG（下線は PAM 配列）129S6/SvEv と 7 回かけ合わせた。
Strain descriptionゲノム編集により Otud7b のエキソン 2 にフレームシフト変異（35bp 欠失）が導入されており､premature termination codon が出現する。
