Strain development2022 年、理化学研究所 濱田博司研究室と生体モデル開発チームとの共同研究にて樹立。B6/129 由来の G4 ES cell に CRISPR/Cas9 法で mScarletI 遺伝子を導入後、得られた細胞をICR 由来の 8cell にインジェクションしキメラを作成した。キメラを C57BL/6JJcl マウスと交配し、F1 を得た。以降兄妹交配で継代維持。
Strain descriptionアミノ酸残基 1568 と 1569 の間に(G4S)3mScarletI(G4S)3 が挿入された PKD1L1(polycystic kidney disease 1 like 1)融合タンパクが合成されるようデザインされたアリルを持つマウス。Pkd1l1 チャネルの局在を可視化することを目的とした。
