Strain development群馬大学生体調節研究所ゲノム科学リソース分野・畑田出穂教授により作製いただいた（開発年2018年）。偽妊娠ICRメスマウスにエレクトロポレーション済みの胚（B6D2F1 x B6D2F1）を移し、得られた仔マウスを兄妹交配にて維持。
Strain descriptionAdra1aはアドレナリンalpha 1A受容体をコードしており、ノルアドレナリンが結合することでGタンパク共役型のGq/11を介したシグナル伝達を行う。本系統はAdra1a遺伝子エクソン2を挟むようにLoxP配列を挿入したマウスとなり、Cre依存的にAdra1aの欠損が可能となるマウスである。
