TypeCRISPR/Cas9 (Transgene)Cartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6D2-Dcst2<em2Osb> Tg(Clgn-Dcst2/3xHA)1Osb
Former Common nameDcst<2-25/wt>;Tg (3xHA)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeposited by Masahito Ikawa, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University in 2021. Fertilized eggs derived from BDF1 × BDF1 were used to generate this line. Mixed genetic background. Homozygous Dcst2 male mutants are infertile, but this phenotype can be rescued by the transgene.
Strain descriptionDcst2 knockout mouse generated by the CRISPR/Cas9. 25 bp deletion in the Dcst2 gene. This strain also has a transgene expressing Dcst2 fused with 3xHA-tag (C-terminus) under the control of Clgn promoter.
