Appearance | |
Strain development | Deposited by Masahito Ikawa, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University in 2021. Fertilized eggs derived from BDF1 × BDF1 were used to generate this line. Mixed genetic background. Homozygous Dcst2 male mutants are infertile, but this phenotype can be rescued by the transgene. |
Strain description | Dcst2 knockout mouse generated by the CRISPR/Cas9. 25 bp deletion in the Dcst2 gene. This strain also has a transgene expressing Dcst2 fused with 3xHA-tag (C-terminus) under the control of Clgn promoter. |
