BRC No.RBRC11280
TypeTransgeneCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6D2-Tg(HTT<*>/EGFP)150Nn
Former Common nameHD150QG
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeposited by Nobuyuki Nukina, RIKEN in 2021. B6D2F1 mixed genetic background. Natural mating and breeding are not practical. Reproductive technique (IVF) is necessary to maintain this strain. It is important to use mouse that has been confirmed to have the expected repeat length by PCR.
Strain descriptionTransgenic mice harboring human HTT promoter and exon1 with CAG repeats (about 150 repeats) fused with EGFP. This lines was derived from the parental line containing about 190 repeats. Most mice die by 50 weeks.
