Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Deposited by Masahito Ikawa, Research Institute for Microbial Diseases, Osaka University in 2020. Mice were generated using EGR-G01 (ES cell) derived from (129S2 x B6Cr)F1-Tg(CAG/Acr-EGFP). Mice were further crossed to B6D2. Mixed genetic background. |
Strain description | A point mutant (C160A) in the Phf7 gene generated by the CRISPR/Cas9. Male homozygous KI mutants exhibit infertility. This strain also has a transgene expressing Acr-EGFP under the control of CAG promoter. |
