Strain development開発者：山中宏二、開発年：2010（論文発表2017年）BDF1受精卵を用いた。前頭側頭型認知症様の症状を呈し、わずかに運動機能（ロータロッド試験）も低下するが、生存に影響なし。繁殖性も問題なし。雄性個体は加齢に伴って、極稀にてんかん様の痙攣をきたして突然死する場合がある。
Strain descriptionマウスプリオンプロモータの下流に野生型ヒトTDP-43cDNAを発現するマウス。トランスジーンは神経系に広く発現し、TDP-43cDNAのC端に3xFLAGタグを有する。
