Strain development北里大学・佐々木宣哉（2016年）FVB/NJ(FVB)系統。FVB由来のファウンダーマウスとFVBのF1個体を作出。Tns2<C231S>をヘテロで維持しながら、FVBに戻し交配を行う。7世代(N7)以降から兄妹交配を行い、Tns2<C231S>をホモにして維持。
Strain descriptionTNS2<C231S>はTensin2の231番目のアミノ酸CysがSerに置換された変異であり、protein tyrosine phosphatase（PTP）活性が不活性化している。
