Strain development | Deposited by Kiyomasa Nishii, National Defense Medical College in 2019. CCE ES cell line derived from 129/SvEv was used. Crossing with a Cre strain removed a floxed neo selection cassette, but left the floxed entire coding exon of the Cx45 gene. |
Strain description | Floxed Cx45 (Gjc1; gap junction protein, gamma 1). The entire coding exon was flanked with loxP sites followed by an nls-LacZ. This strain lacks the neo selection cassette by prior crossing with a Cre strain. |
