Strain development熊本大学生命資源研究・支援センターにおいて杉本道彦、荒木喜美が2016年に作製。C57BL/6N系統由来雄ES細胞（6NK-7）を用いてゲノム編集を行い、キメラ作製を経て系統を樹立。C57BL/6N系統由来雄ES細胞（6NK-7）を使用。
