Strain development奈良先端科学技術大学院大学・高橋直樹 (2003年)R1 ES 細胞を用いて作出。C57BL/6コンジェニック系統。Mab21l1tm1Nao heterozygouteをC57BL/6J Jclに８世代戻し交配を行う。その後、兄妹交配にて維持。ホモ型不妊abnormal male preputial gland morphology abnormal eye morphology abnormal skull development
Strain descriptionThis gene is similar to the MAB-21 cell fate-determining gene found in C. elegans. It may be involved in eye and cerebellum development.Mutation details: The entire gene coding region was replaced with a neomycin resistance cassette via homologous recombination. Absence of gene expression in homozygous mutants was confirmed by whole mount in situ hybridization analysis of E10.5 homozygous mutant embryos.
