Strain development大阪大学蛋白質研究所・古川貴久作成(2017年)。BDF1の受精卵にCas9 mRNAとLrtm1のgRNAをインジェクションすることで作製した。C57BL/6J(日本SLC)と戻し交配し、その後兄妹交配で系統維持。
Strain descriptionゲノム編集によりLrtm1のエキソン2にフレームシフト変異（59 bp欠失）が導入されており、premature termination codonが出現する。
