Strain development2011年3月に北　加奈子[大阪大学大学院生命機能研究科]によって作製された。BDF1由来の受精卵にインジェクションし、作製した。B6に戻し交配。雄性生殖細胞内で、LINE1 Aタイプの転写制御領域中にある＜ccacgggaccctaagacc＞配列にFLAGtag-NLS-Zincfiger-MIWI2タンパクが結合する。
