Strain development開発者／機関：大字亜沙美、伊川正人／大阪大学開発年：2015年BDF1×BDF1より得られた受精卵へHmgb4遺伝子エクソン1の蛋白質コード領域を標的としたsgRNA及びCas9タンパク質をコードするプラスミドをマイクロインジェクションすることで欠損を誘導した。BDF1と数回交配後、ミックスバックグラウンドで兄弟交配により維持している。KO雄マウスは見かけ上、正常に発育し、生殖能力にも特に異常は見られない。
