TypeTransgene and Spontaneous MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-c/c Tg(CAG-iRFP)#846Utr
Former Common nameiRFP Tg #846
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Yoshihiro Miwa, University of Tsukuba in 2012. A DNA construct was injected into fertilized eggs derived from B6D2F1. Mice were backcrossed to B6(Cg)Tyr<c2-J> for 17 generations. C57BL/6J congenic line.
Strain descriptionTransgenic mice expressing iRFP under the control of the CAG promoter. This line (B6.Cg-c/c Tg(CAG-iRFP)#846Utr) exhibits stronger iRFP expression in heart than RBRC10068 (B6.Cg-c/c Tg(CAG-iRFP)#867Utr).
