Strain developmentC57BL/6J ES cells理化学研究所免疫・アレルギー科学総合研究センター　堀昌平らにより開発。B6/J由来ES細胞を用いて作出。CAG-Creトランスジェニックマウス（Sakai K and Miyazaki J. BBRC 237:318-324, 1997. B6/Jに13世代以上戻し交配された）との交配によりloxPで挟まれたneo遺伝子は除去済み。B6.CAG-Creトランスジェニックマウスと交配してneo遺伝子を除去したのち、C57BL/6JJclに5回戻し交配した。その後、homozygote (♀)を作製し、hemizygote（♂）と交配して維持。特に異常は認められない。
Strain descriptionFoxp3遺伝子のレポーターマウス。Human CD2-human CD52キメラ蛋白質をコードするcDNAが3’ UTR（STOPコドンと内在性のpolyA付加シグナルの間）にIRESを介してノックインされている。
