Strain developmentretinal degeneration mutation (rd)を遺伝背景として有するFVB系統マウスと野生型のICR（MCH）マウスと交配。FVBマウス由来のrd遺伝子変異を保持したマウスをさらにFVB系統マウスに戻し交配（10回）。FVBコンジェニック系統。ICR(MCH) 日本クレア、Y染色体はFVBマウス由来　この系統は、inv遺伝子変異を含まない。繁殖　生育に関しては一般のFVB系統マウスと同じ。未解析。
Strain descriptionICRマウス由来の正常な(rd/Pdeb rd1；b subunit of cGMP phosphodiesterase遺伝子)を有さない、FVB由来のretinal degeneration mutation (rd)の表現型を有するFVBコンジェニック系統。
