Strain description | A chemokine receptor, XCR1, is a receptor for XCL1 and expressed dominantly in one dendritic cell subset. XCR1-KikGR mice were generated by knocking the gene encoding a photoconvertible green-to-red fluorescent protein KikGR into the murine XCR1 gene locus. In XCR1-KikGR mice, XCR1-expressing cells can be detected by KikGR expression. |
