Strain developmentRIKEN BRC developed this strain by the CRISPR/Cas9 technique using fertilized eggs derived from C57BL/6NJcl. This was funded through the FY2016 AMED-NBRP fundamental technology upgrading program.
Strain descriptionCre/ERT2 knockin mice at the Pdx1 gene locus. A 2A-Cre/ERT2 DNA fragment was placed in frame at the C-terminus of the Pdx1 protein coding sequence.
