Strain development北海道大学大学院医学研究科　武田　洋平、瀬谷　司、2014年、大阪大学微生物研究所付属遺伝情報実験センター内　特定非営利活動法人　発生工学研究会との共同研究により作出を行った。CRISPR/Cas9システムによる遺伝子編集により、ファウンダー世代においてSlfn5 遺伝子のExon3領域に1塩基挿入変異マウスを得た。その変異マウスをC57BL/6 WTマウスと交配して得られたヘテロ接合体マウ同士の交配により、1塩基挿入変異ホモ接合体の系統を樹立した。特徴的な表現系の所見は未だ未同定。
Strain descriptionSLFN5はインターフェロン誘導性タンパクであるが、詳細な分子機能は不明である。
