Strain descriptionゲノム編集技術により作製されたChd9 (chromodomain helicase DNA binding protein 9) 変異マウス。1 bpの欠損があり、本来であれば2869アミノ酸のタンパクができるところ、理論的に356アミノ酸でタンパク合成が止まる。ホモマウスは正常に生まれ、繁殖も可能。8 bp欠損の系統がRBRC9698として利用可能。
