Strain development開発者：本間研一先生・本間さと先生（北海道大学）開発年：2015年C57BL/6J WTとのバッククロス（10回）を行った。KIホモ個体は、出生時の体重はWTおよびヘテロ個体と差がないものの、徐々に発育が遅れ、生後10日目くらいまでに死亡。系統維持は、WT × ヘテロの交配により実施。
Strain descriptionアルギニンバソプレッシン (AVP) は、視床下部において、室旁核・視索上核・視交叉上核に発現する。AVPの発現をエメラルドシフェラーゼの発光によりモニターできるノックインマウス。ELuc遺伝子は、開始コドンの上流にノックインされ、終始コドンを持つ。そのためtargeted alleleでは、AVPが発現しない。
