Strain development開発者／機関：岩本隆司先生・大内靖夫先生・中部大学・生命健康科学部・実験動物教育研究センター開発年：2012年C57BL6とDBA2のF1同士を交配した受精卵にインジェクション。その後C57BL/6と戻し交配を3世代以上続けた。
Strain descriptionLin28 is an RNA-binding protein that modulate the processing of let-7 microRNA. It is one of key elements for producing iPS cells and important in keeping pluripotent state of stem cells. Its involvement in cancer development has been also reported. Mice of these lines overexpress mouse Lin28A in the intestinal epithelium, resulting in tumor formation.
