Strain development寄託者が作出。BAC（RP23-138P5）を使用したBACトランスジェニックマウス。Chrm4の翻訳開始部位にmammalianized tTA（mtTA）-SV40 polyAを挿入してある。BDF1の受精卵を使用。129SvEvTac、C57BL6Jなどとのmixed background。
Strain description線条体直接路投射神経でtTAを発現する。ムスカリン受容体4型遺伝子 (Chrm4) のプロモーターを利用。大脳皮質にも強く発現する。特に6層神経に強い発現がある。
