Strain development筑波大学生命科学動物資源センターの杉山文博先生が2014年に開発。C57BL/6J (CRJ)の受精卵においてマイクロインジェクションによるゲノム編集で作製された系統。ファウンダーマウスとC57BL/6Jマウスを交配し、F1を作出。その後、インタークロス(3世代)により維持・繁殖した。
