Strain development筑波大学生命科学動物資源センターの杉山文博先生が2014年に開発。C57BL/6J (CRJ)の受精卵においてマイクロインジェクションによるゲノム編集で作製された系統。ファウンダーマウスとC57BL/6Jマウスを交配し、F1を作出。その後、インタークロス(4世代)により維持・繁殖した。
Strain descriptionKit遺伝子からNmu遺伝子までの7つの遺伝子が欠損している。欠損領域の完全な決定はなされていない。ヘテロ変異マウスは腹部白斑を示す。また尾部と四肢末端においても色素欠損を示す。ホモ変異体は、Kdr遺伝子欠損が原因で胎齢8.5日前後に致死すると考えられる。
