Strain development2003年、千葉大学・谷口　克先生によって開発された。C57BL/6コンジェニック系統。C57BL/6に戻し交配を行った後、兄妹交配にて維持してきた。交配によりY染色体はB6置換済み。ホモ型の場合、T細胞およびB細胞を欠失し、免疫不全となる。
Strain descriptionRag2遺伝子は、未熟T細胞におけるT細胞受容体遺伝子再構成に必須の遺伝子である。本マウスは、Rag2遺伝子領域にEGFPを挿入し、 Rag2プロモーターの制御下にてEGFPを発現し、Rag2発現細胞の観測に有用である。
