Strain development大阪大学蛋白質研究所・古川貴久先生作成(2015年)。C57BL/6コンジェニック系統。♂ヘテロ型を用い、C57BL/6J(日本SLC)との戻し交配。ホモノックアウトマウスでは、14日齢および8週齢において、コントロール群よりも有意に骨量の減少が認められている。Homozygous mutant mice show lower bone mass than controls at 14 days and 8 weeks old.♂ホモ型繁殖力弱い。
Strain descriptionObif (osteoblast induction factor) 遺伝子のノックアウトマウス。Obifは、骨芽細胞特異的に発現する遺伝子である。Obif, osteoblast induction factor gene knockout mice. Exon 2 of Obif gene was replaced with PGK-neo cassette.C57BL/6-Tmem119<tm1Tfur> (RBRC09474)とC57BL/6-Tmem119<tm2Tfur> (RBRC09484)は、作製時に選択したESのクローンが異なる。
