Strain descriptionカルパイン2はカルシウムイオンにより活性化される細胞質内システインプロテアーゼである。本マウスは、カルパイン2遺伝子のExon3の前後にLoxPが挿入されている。Neomycin耐性遺伝子は削除済み。Creマウスと交配しなければ、特に変化なし。
