Strain developmentDeveloped by Sunao Takeshita, National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology. (C57BL/6NTac x 129S6/SvEvTac)F1 derived ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. C57BL/6 background. Floxed mice (RBRC06522): A frt-flanked neo cassette was removed by crossing with CAG-FLPe mice. KO mice (RBRC06523): A frt-flanked neo cassette was removed by crossing with CAG-FLPe mice, and then the exon 2 was removed by crossing with CAG-Cre mice.
