Strain development自治医科大学分子病態治療研究センター・和田妙子先生（2012）。トランスジーンをC57BL/6受精卵へインジェクションすることにより作出。ライン3（RBRC06329）、ライン6（RBRC06330）。
Strain descriptionマウスLy6A遺伝子プロモーター制御下でヒトKDM1A (LSD1) 遺伝子 (transcript variant 2) を発現するトランスジェニックマウス。KDM1A (LSD1) はヒストン脱メチル化酵素であり、ヒストンH3K4およびK9を脱メチル化することにより、転写抑制ならびに活性化に働く因子。白血病、神経芽細胞腫、前立腺がん、乳がんなどの様々な癌で強発現しており、発癌研究に有用。Tgマウスは外見上特に目立った異常無し。詳細は解析途上。
