Strain descriptionSmap2遺伝子のノックアウトマウス。SMAP2は低分子量GTPaseであるArf分子のGTPase-activating protein (GAP) であり、細胞内の初期エンドソーム-トランスゴルジネットーワーク (TGN) 間のクラスリン依存的な輸送を調節する。ホモオスマウスは、アクロソーム形成不全による円頭精子症を発症し、完全に不妊になる。
