BRC No. | RBRC05913 |
Type | Transgene |
Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | C57BL/6N-Tg(CAG-anti-Adipo)1Shb |
Former Common name | C57BL/6-TgN(anti-Adipo), Adiponectin antisense Tg |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | |
Background strain | C57BL/6NCrSlc |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Kiyomi Saito, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Showa University in 2005. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of C57BL/6 fertilized eggs. |
Strain description | Adiponectin antisense transgenic mice. AS compared to the WT mice, the adiponectin level of antisense Tg mice is reduced. In the Tg mice, more severe inflammations are induced in DDS-induced colitis and collagen-induced arthritis compare to the WT mice. |
Colony maintenance | Carrier x Carrier [or Crossing to C57BL/6NCrSlc] |
