Strain development熊本大学医学部・高津　潔先生。C3H受精卵へインジェクションにより作出。C57BL/6背景（RBRC01908）およびBALB/c背景（RBRC05910）（東京大学医科学研究所にて育成）、NZW背景（RBRC01200）(順天堂大学医学部にて育成)。
Strain descriptionMt1プロモーター制御下でマウスIL-5遺伝子を過剰に発現するトランスジェニックマウス。血中のIL-5は高値を示し、好酸球増加が認められる。また、カドミウム投与によりIL-5産生がさらに上昇し、B1細胞の増加が認められる。
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Carrier (Homozygous x Homozygote) Tg mice show no obvious abnormality.
