Strain development理化学研究所基幹研究所 岩脇隆夫先生 (2006)。RF8 ES細胞 (129S4/SvJae由来) を用いて作出。neoカセットはflpマウス（Gt(ROSA)26Sor<tm1(FLP1)Dym>）との交配により除去済み。
Strain description2回繰り返したヒトXBP1遺伝子とホタルluciferase遺伝子との融合遺伝子 (新型ERAI遺伝子) をROSA26遺伝子座にノックインしたマウスで、小胞体ストレスの生体イメージングモデルマウス。Cre-loxPシステムにより条件的に発現をコントロールが可能。従来のERAI-LUCトランスジェニックマウスよりも非特異シグナルを抑えることができている。
