ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Gerard Karsenty, Department of Molecular and Human Genetics, Baylor College of Medicine, Texas in 2002. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of FVB fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain descriptionCol1a1-cre transgenic mice. These transgenic mice express cre recombinase under the control of the mouse collagen, type I, alpha 1 promoter.
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Noncarrier [C57BL/6JJcl]
