Strain developmentDeveloped by Naoki Mine and Hiroshi Hamada et al., Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University in 2008. The Hoxb1-LacZ (BAC) transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6C3F1 fertilized eggs.
Strain descriptionThis is a transgenic mouse line, which contains a lacZ expression gene in the place of Hoxb1 gene. This strain is useful for investigating the expression pattern of Hoxb1 by detecting lacZ expression using X-Gal staining.
