Strain developmentB6D2F1受精卵へのインジェクションにより作製、C57BL/6Nマウスに戻し交配 (N11)後、兄妹交配(ヘテロ型)。ホモ化は不成功。
Strain descriptionhumanα1-antitrypsinプロモーター制御下でCD156(ADAM8)を発現するトランスジェニックマウス。CD156は主にマクロファージ系細胞膜上に存在する。免疫、脳神経細胞機能に関与すると考えられているが、未だ不明な点が多い。このトランスジェニックマウスはマウスCD156を肝臓で過剰発現し、CD156が全身に循環される。CD156のin vivoでの機能の解析に有用。Tgマウスは非特異的炎症反応は弱く、皮膚の遅延型アレルギー反応は増強する。また、喘息発作惹起には耐性を示す。
Colony maintenance通常の維持繁殖には特に問題ない。
