Strain descriptionヒト免疫不全ウイルス (HIV) NL4-3ゲノムのトランスジェニックマウス。安全性を高めるため、逆転写酵素遺伝子の一部を欠損し不活化してある。様々な組織でHIV gRNAを産生する。Tgは体重の現弱が認められる。加齢に伴い白内障を呈する。(注意点) HIV Tgマウスは、不活化ウイルスゲノムを挿入したTgマウスであるが、ウイルス粒子 (非感染性) が産生されるため、念のため排泄物等は全て滅菌処理を行う必要がある。P2A。
