Strain development開発者 / 機関 : 長田 重一先生　宮西 正憲先生開発年 : 2007年C57BL/6系統。C57BL/6由来のBruce4 ES細胞を用いて作出。ヘテロマウス同士の交配よりホモマウスを作出し、その後は兄妹交配にて維持。
Strain descriptionTim4遺伝子のVenusノックインマウス。Tim4遺伝子はTim4はホスファチジルセリン (PS) に対する受容体である。Tim4の発現はマクロファージに限局しており、生体内での死細胞の貪食、除去に関与しているものと思われる。
Colony maintenance兄妹交配特記 : Tim4 KIホモ同士の交配。ホモマウスは通常の維持繁殖には特に問題ない。
