Strain descriptionGlycoprotein 2 (GP2) 遺伝子のノックアウトマウス。GP2は膵臓のチモーゲン顆粒膜、ならびにパイエル板のM細胞に発現しているGPIアンカー型膜タンパク質である。GP2遺伝子の機能を阻害すると、M細胞におけるタイプI細菌の細胞内取込み能が低下する。これは、GP2がM細胞における細菌取込みの受容体として機能しているためと考えられる。消化管の粘膜免疫応答、膵臓の分泌顆粒の研究に有用である。
