Strain descriptionThe gene is truncated after exon 13. It contains a single loxP site in the remaining exon 13-proximal segment of intron 13. Immunoblot analysis fails to detect the a3 subunit of vacuolar-type ATPase (V-ATPase), which is encoded by the endogenous gene, in liver lysates of homozygous mutant mice.
Colony maintenance兄妹交配特記 : ホモで継代不可能。戻し交配系統名 (ブリーダー名) : C57Bl/6 (SLC)ホモで不妊／死亡形態の異常・奇形がある行動の異常がある繁殖成績が低いその他視覚障害。聴覚もおそらく異常。
