Strain development開発者/機関 : 大分大学開発年 : 1997年C57BL/6コンジェニック系統。BD(B6ｘDBA2)F1受精卵にマイクロインジェククションして作出。C57BL/6Nに12世代戻し交配を行う。その後ホモを作出し、兄妹交配にて維持。
Strain descriptionCD14は単球系細胞表面の一種であり、LPSのreceptorである。LPSと結合するとTLR4を介してエンドトキシンショック (ES) を引き起こす。CD14アンカー部上流に新たにstop codonを作製し、遊離型CD14を過剰発現するように遺伝子操作をした。このマウスはLPS刺激に対し、血中TNF-α、IL-6を抑制し、ESに耐性を示した。LPS、ES等の研究に有用である。
