Strain developmentTechnical University of Munich・Irmgard Foersterらにより開発。秋田大学医学部(鈴木 聡来教授)を経由(2003年6月)して、慶應大学医学部に導入された。E14 ES細胞を用いて作出。RBRC02302:C57BL/6に数世代戻し交配されたものを、C57BL/6NTacに15代以上戻し交配したもの。RBRC02303:C57BL/6に数世代戻し交配されたものを、BALB/cAnNに15代以上戻し交配したもの。
Strain descriptionLysMcreマウスと呼ばれている。単球・マクロファージなどのmyeloid細胞に高発現するリソソーム酵素であるMリゾチームの染色体遺伝子座にCreをインフレームで挿入したノックインマウス。myeloid細胞特異的かつ効率的に遺伝子操作が可能なCreマウスである。C57BL/6背景 (RBRC02302) およびBALB/c背景 (RBRC02303) 。
