BRC No.RBRC02137
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameSTOCK Olfr151<tm28(cre)Mom>/MomTyagRbrc
Former Common nameM71-ires-Cre; M71-Cre
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14 [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Peter Mombaerts, The Rockefeller University in 2004. The neo cassette was removed by crossing with Tg(ACTB-FLP) mice.
Strain descriptionM71 (Olfr151) gene cre knock-in mice. An ires-Cre was inserted downstream of the coding sequence of Olfr151 gene. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6J(Crlj)]
