Strain descriptionZeb1遺伝子のノックアウトマウス (Zfhx1a deltaC727ノックアウトマウス) 。近交系背景の場合、ホモマウスは出生後、胚呼吸に至らず致死となる。ICR 系統や、B6C3F1 等の交雑型の background では、20～30 % のホモ変異個体が生存する。
Colony maintenanceC57BL/6 に戻し交配で維持し、繁殖効率は普通 （B） です。
