Strain development理化学研究所バイオリソースセンター・阿部訓也先生（2004）。B6D2F1受精卵にTgのインジェクションにより作出。C57BL/6へ交配された（N2以上）。
Strain descriptionPOU転写因子Oct-4 (Pou5f1) 遺伝子を含む18kbのゲノム断片 (Genomic Oct-4 Fragment of 18) 制御下でRFP遺伝子を発現するトランスジェニックマウス。GOF18のproximal enhancer (PE) 部は除去されている。Oct-4遺伝子は始原生殖細胞特異的に発現する遺伝子であり、始原生殖細胞 (PCG) を蛍光により区別、観察することが可能。
