Strain development1999年大阪大学細胞生体工学センタ-の西條幸男、濱田博司先生らによって作製された。B6の受精卵に目的DNA断片をマイクロインジェクションして、Tgを作製。
Strain description非対称性な形態形成に需要な因子であるNodal遺伝子発現部位に特異的にcreを発現するトランスジェニックマウス。
Colony maintenanceTg♂とB6♀を交配させ、繁殖維持。繁殖効率は世代/個体でかなり差がある。Tg♂3匹以上で繁殖維持するのが好ましい。
