Strain development | Developed by Drs. Yukio Saijho and Hiroshi Hamada, Institute for Molecular and Cellular Biology, Osaka University at 2000. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of FVB/N fertilized eggs. |
Strain description | This transgenic strain expresses the mouse Invs cDNA and GFP fusion gene under the control of the EF1alpha gene promoter. Inv::GFP type (line B27): the coding region of the mouse Invs cDNA was linked to EGFP (RBRC01859), Inv deltaC::GFP (line N105): deleted the 3’ part of the coding region of the Inv cDNA at the NheI site (RBRC01860). These strains are useful for elucidation of the function of Invs gene. |
Colony maintenance | Carrier x Noncarrier [or Crossing to FVB/NJcl] |
